Choosing a photographer and/or videographer for your wedding is a big decision, and with very good reason! We believe that your images and videos are some of the most precious keepsakes we have to take with us through the years. They are memories we can hold onto, and that is priceless.
In all facets of our work we strive to tell the story. For weddings, that means not only the story of an event but also the story of two people and their life adventure together. Your images should be a reflection of you. Guided by these values, we aim to capture the genuine emotion you share with your loved ones on your wedding day.
You focus on the dress, saying "I do", eating cake and dancing the night away. We will make sure to capture every moment and detail so that years from now the memories are as vivid as the day you experienced them.
When will we get our photos?
You will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within a maximum of 12 weeks (sometimes less depending on the season we photograph your story). You can download all the photos from the gallery but also share them, choose your favorites, and also order prints!
When will we get our Video?
Video is a lot longer of a process for us but we work basically non-stop to create the amazing films that you love and expect from us. Wedding films like photos are based on the season for how fast we return them but you will have them back in a maximum of 16 weeks.
What time should I get married?
Timing your ceremony is based on multiple factors including whether you are having a first look or waiting to see each other at the alter, the time of year, sunset time and whether you are getting married inside or outside. Because there are so many factors involved and we want to make sure your images the quality you deserve we suggest talking with your photographers/videographers PRIOR to setting your wedding time. We've have the experiences that you might not consider in getting the best lighting for your bride and groom photos. Let us help! It's why we are here.
What is a first look and why should we consider it?
What is a First look & Five reasons why you'll want one ...
A first look is a modern tradition and is one of the most powerful moments on a wedding day. At some point after your getting ready, you get to see each other before the aisle moment. Away from all the busyness of a wedding day, a first look allows you to connect, reflect, and celebrate, just the two of you! We never force our choices on a bride and groom so if this is your choice we support it. Just like when you want to wait to see each other when you walk down the aisle. it's your day. We are here to inform you of your options and carry through your wishes.
How many pictures will we receive?
For an 8-hour coverage wedding, you will receive a minimum of 500 fully edited images. We always choose quality rather than quantity and that's why we will choose the best and most significant photos to tell your story. We regularly deliver more than this number but this is the minimum you will receive.
Where are you based and do you travel?
We are based in Pleasent View just north of Nashville and yes we love to travel! If you want us to capture your story, there is sometimes a travel fee, depending on where it takes place. But no worries, we always try to find the cheapest way to come because I don't want it to be a brake for you to choose us as your team.
How much time should I allow for hair and make-up?
Often times you will get numbers ranging from a half hour to one hour from your hair and make up professionals. From experience, we truly have found that the one hour per person mark is generally correct. If you have more than one HMUA then potentially your time could be less, but it's best to play it safe and plan for one hour per person.
Can we get our RAW photos/video footage?
RAW files and footage are technically NOT files (they require special software to be opened). If you try to view them on a desktop, laptop, etc., you won’t be able to see any images at all.
Raw files and video footage are meant to be edited, they cannot be printed without being post-processed first nor can video be played without being converted.
They are dull, flat “images” that are low in contrast and not as crisp.
Photographers capture RAW files when they shoot because the RAW files contain complete (lossless) data from the camera’s sensor that photographers can use to edit in their specific style…
In the video world, we capture a LOT of data throughout the day just to put together a highlight or feature film for you. A number of it is not usable for one reason or another like the idea did not work or the angle was not right or Maria or Casey talked right in the middle of it haha (but you bet will will straight-up mute Maria and use it anyway it if was beautiful.) On top of our footage not being easy to view it doesn't make any sense all chopped up into tiny segments from the day without our special software to view and put it together.
So, in short, unfortunately, as professionals, we do not sell those.
